Customizing Your Selection
We are deeply committed to ensuring that your selection provides a memorable tribute to the deceased, giving comfort to yourself or the family. Whilst we have a varied selection of each style on the website, we understand that you may want us to change colors, flowers, make the piece larger, add ribbons or special mementoes, etc.
Use the arrangements shown as a guide, then decide what changes you would like us to made. If you have a simple request, then just enter that into the special instructions box on checkout. If it is more complex, then please call us at the store on (727) 544-8847, and we will do our best to accomodate your wishes.
Sympathy Card Message
Most people have a fear that they are going to upset or offend the person who will receive their sympathy words. Anxiety sets in as you try to find the correct sympathy card message. Don't use phrases like "I know what you are going through" - the reason is that you probably don't know what the person is going through, and even if you do it can come across as minimizing the suffering and pain the receiving person is feeling. Try one of these sympathy messages in your next card:

Delivering Your Arrangement
Funeral Homes
We work closely with all the funeral homes in our delivery area to ensure your selection is delivered in perfect condition in time for the visitation or service. Unless otherwise directed by the funeral director, we will deliver as least two hours before the start of the service, giving time for the the funeral director or family to arrange sympathy pieces. Click this link for a partial list of funeral homes we work with. Click the name to be directed to their website for more information.

Churches
If the service is being held at a church, then we will often deliver direct to the church rather than to the funeral home taking care of the deceased. The exception would be if the piece is a casket cover and it needs to travel in the funeral procession to the church, but don't worry - we liase with the facility to ensure the delivery is made to the correct location. Quite often churches do not open until shortly before the service, but we will always check with church staff first before delivery is scheduled.
Graveside
There may be occasions when we will deliver a funeral flower arrangement direct to the graveside location in the cemetery. Again, we will contact the facility before hand to make arrangements, but usually we will delivery only an hour before the service begins. This ensures the flowers are kept in the best condition for an outside service in sunny Florida, and that we are able to place them under the canopy setup for attendees.
Funeral Service Etiquette
Flowers sent to the funeral home serve as a tribute at the service of the deceased. They add decoration, beauty, fragrance, and life to a somber event. They are symbolic not only of love and sympathy, but also of eternity and immortality. Throughout the world funeral flowers have played an important role in funeral customs because of their fragrant beauty and comforting qualities. In ancient times, tradition called for loved ones to use flowers and herbs to anoint the bodies of the deceased, while aromatic flowers and plants were used to decorate the burial site. Today, flowers remain one of the most beautiful ways to express our condolences when words fail us.
